GROE, Inc. exists to be resource ambassadors who address youth success, food access, barriers for marginalized entrepreneurs, creative and performing arts, community advocacy, and simply helping everyone to WIN.
GROE, Inc. is a state recognized non-profit organization that embodies four programs: After School Snack Bags, Open Bite Night, Building Blocks, and circumstantial outreach (the arts, success tools, school supplies, diapers, coats, bill payment, and the like). However, GROE Inc. was born due to the lack of access to fresh food in the 46208 area. The After School Snack Program was our initial focus.
Our After School Snack Program is one that grew to be a neighborhood staple. When GROE, Inc. discontinued the program due to low resources, it was felt by the families in the neighborhood. Immediate goals for GROE, Inc. include reinstating the after school snack bag program and would be interested in partnerships, collaborations and sponsorships to resurrect this program.
